Steel is a relationship business.
In 1989, when D. Sohanlal Sharma opened the first shop near Muniappan Kovil, Eachanari was a dusty junction on the Coimbatore–Pollachi highway. The steel trade in the city ran on trust, a weighing scale, and a handshake.
Thirty-five years later, the junction is a highway interchange — and the trust still runs the business. Our customers are their customers' children. Builders who ordered a single lorry of angles in 1995 now ring us for tower orders in 2026.
Under the stewardship of Managing Director S. Deepak Sharma, the second generation has expanded the yard, digitised the invoicing, and added round-plate job works — but the number to call is still the same one on the signboard.
